"From a young age, basketball has always been a central part of my life. My passion for the game was so evident that my fourth-grade teacher once wrote on my report card that she expected to see me playing in the WNBA someday. While I didn’t quite reach that stage, I did go on to play both Division I and Division II college basketball.
Through the game, I gained far more than just on-court skills. Basketball taught me invaluable life lessons—leadership, confidence, teamwork, resilience, and the importance of hard work—lessons that continue to shape who I am today.
Although my competitive playing days have come to an end (I still enjoy a good pickup game), my love for basketball has only grown. I’ve developed a strong passion for coaching and mentoring young athletes, helping them not only improve their skills but also build confidence and character. There is nothing more rewarding than watching girls grow and develop, both on and off the court.
Directing basketball camps allows me to share my experience, knowledge, and passion with young athletes throughout the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area, while creating a positive, supportive environment where girls can learn, grow, and thrive."
